The GQAS Accreditation Committee is comprised of independent external members who are not part of the management or inspection process.
Our Accreditation Committee will:
- Review the standard of inspection reports and make recommendations for improvement should the standard be found wanting
- If the Inspector(s) have made a recommendation that a college be accredited, either approving this recommendation or asking for further evidence or reporting before approval can be given
- Retain the authority to refuse accreditation approval in certain instances
- Review the ongoing accreditation status of colleges and recommend the frequency and nature of monitoring visits.
